Re: Full Tilt Poker - News

You're welcome bartongrl1.

And if things are played out the way they normally do, it may take another year before Full Tilt gets back online.

And if Full Tilt does get bought and starts to function again, it will most likely be called something else.

Re: Full Tilt Poker - News

Well, two days after my last post about PokerStars and Full Tilt poker, a new article arose from iGaming Post with this announcement...

Quote:
The iGaming Post has learned that following recent court hearing in the US between PokerStars, Full Tilt Poker and the DOJ, have come to concluding that a timetable for paying back players has been reached and the announcement will be made official in the last week of May.
Read the full iGaming Post article at Gaming Awards.

So it looks like PokerStars may already have Full Tilt poker on their table. Now it will be up to the DoJ to get the ball rolling.

Re: Full Tilt Poker - News

Thanks so much for the update and its great to hear that there will be a timetable by which all the players will get paid. I imagine that there are players there that are owed a goodly amount of money, and will be glad to finally get their cash in hand.

Yeah, I agree with you, bartongrl1. It will be nice for the Full Tilt poker players to finally get their funds back.

I read somewhere in one of the articles that the DoJ wouldn't accept anything less that full payment to all the U.S. players who had monies owed...
And I think it was something like a 30-day payout in which the payments had to be made, before someone could buy the Full Tilt poker site.

I think PokerStars has pretty much gotten their seat in the U.S. online poker scene, and it all seems to begin in Las Vegas and with the casino owners there.

Re: Full Tilt Poker - News

Its good to hear that all those players will be paid in full everything they are owed. That is exactly what needs to happen. It is also good to hear that there is a time limit set for those payments to be made by too.

Now if we can just have our online playing privleges back, all will be well for us. This has taken far too long and shouldnt have happened to begin with.

Re: Full Tilt Poker - News

That is so true bartongrl1. Players shouldn't have to pay for another companies mistakes.

I will be glad when Full Tilt is finally bought, the poker players are paid and all this 'legal' crap is put to rest.

And of course, it would be nice to play in the poker freerolls again where I can try for real money the way I use to.

Re: Full Tilt Poker - News

I bet you really miss those poker freerolls. Will be nice to get back to them, and good luck when you do.

Everything is so up in the air right now and its time for the government to bust the balloon that took it all up there and get down to business and fix things so we can all play online again.

Re: Full Tilt Poker - News

Well, it's past the end of May and I'm sure something has happened with Full Tilt poker by now.

Sometime tomorrow, I will update the news on Full Tilt poker (if anything new has happened with them). So stay tuned in.

Re: Full Tilt Poker - News

I checked online again for anything new on Full Tilt poker, but found nothing of interest.

I'll keep checking and report any new findings.
