Good, can you tell us a little about Legion and Inferno?

BELZ
^Sure...Legion iz a group that I started a little over 5 yearz ago in order to wage a war of typez against online pedophilia...Inferno iz the core group of Legion..The elite of Legion so2speak^

BELZ
^We have had different levelz of success depending upon what sitez we are operating in^

ok, so you been doing this for 5 years?

^Yez...Thiz September will be 6 yearz^

^Yez it doez William...From myself and from the operative memberz az well^

I bet, how many members are there in your group that help you?

BELZ
^Well once a Legion member alwayz a Legion member lol...If you count current active memberz and memberz that have gone on to help other organizationz we number in excezz of 500 memberz...Thiz iz not counting outside resourcez that offer uz assistance if the need arizez^

^One of the thingz that haz helped uz to be succezzful iz that you never know exactly who iz a Legion member..lol^

WOW, thats a lot of people working for this cause, course I bet it really isn't enough to handle the problems, is it?

^No..For every one we help take off of the street another 50 surface...Itz a much deeper problem than alot of people realize^

BELZ
^We alone have had over 50 ironclad arrestz with a 65% conviction rate^

BELZ
^Itz the other 35% that concern me^

Thats a pretty impressing number for such a group, so can anyone help? and how do we as a group get involved?

^Well I posted a thread in the new Legion Lounge here at the forumz...At thiz point what that thread statez iz where we will start...^

^Different situationz warrant different actionz...We have to deal with it on a case by case basis^

^There are certain criteria and protocol that must be followed and I will explain them in the forum in time^

ok, well I must say as a Grandfather of 6 grandkids, knowing that there is a group such as this out there is a little comforting, as they will all eventually be on the internet.

^There are other groupz out there az well...Which we welcome and wish there were more of^

^We have done what we could to assist thoze groupz whenever the opportunity haz arizen^

yes indeed, I hear more and more everyday on the news about these types of problems.,

Can you tell us how involved you actually get in the prosecution of online predators?

BELZ
^The main thing we do iz the collection of the evidence..After we hand that over to the proper individualz itz pretty much out of our handz...^

^And I don't want to get into detailz about how exactly we operate becauze, well, you never know who might read thiz..lol^

Ok, Does law enforcement actually approve and support your actions, in believing the information provided to them?

BELZ
^It sometimez takez a little while if itz a new contact...If itz an established contact then they pretty much know that if we have information itz good information^

BELZ
^I have been schooled so2speak by contactz that we have had on the proper handling of evidence and I pass that on to my memberz^

BELZ
^Following that protocol iz very important^

So , do you get paid to do this work, or are you self funded?

BELZ
^Legion iz and haz alwayz been self funded...^

BELZ
^And the only pay that I get iz the satisfaction of knowing that I did something to help keep a child safe^

Very good, so I must ask you, What made you actually get involved and Start Legion?

BELZ
^Well 1st off I have children...2nd I noticed a steady increase on the web of both children and what I consider "possible targetz"^

^But at the time I didnt really see any groupz out there doing what we do...^

BELZ
^There are several now and some have had a good deal of succezz but Legion waz one of the "grandfatherz" of hunter groupz^

^We're kind of like the Ozzy Osbourne of pedophile hunting groupz..lol^

LOL, ok, I know I first met you playing poker, and we sort of exchanged websites, since then we have both exchanged forums so to speak, We (theopu.com) have a forum on 34u.org. Can you tell our members a little about 34u.org?

^Yeah...34u.org iz a site that haz dedicated itself to help in the war against pedophilia..It iz chiefly moderated by a friend of mine who uzed to be a Legion member and waz in fact my right hand man in Legion for quite some time^

^They have direct linkz to another group like mine called Perverted Justice...^

^They have not been around for az long az we have but have more resoursez available to them so have had vast exposure and a great deal of succezz...Which I for 1 greatly admire^

yes I noticed a few other links there as well, I seen one from close to where I live it was in Lawrenceville Ga.

^Thoze are actually casez I believe...That PJ haz been working on^

^We had our website within 3 weekz of launch at one point but the financial resourcez fell out^

thats good to see whats going on out there. kind of keeps you updated. I can understand the funds part, I'm sure it takes a lot of work to bring perverts to justice.

^When I 1st started I would actually have to "possess" a targetz uzer handle in order to ascertain that it waz a valid target...^

^While in theze handlez I noticed that besidez groupz like "Daughter Sharing" or Older Men for Younger Boyz" they would 9 out of 10 timez be in a whole bunch of religious groupz^

^They didnt fear the law..they didnt fear the site adminz...so I had to think of something that they DID fear...^

^...and at the time someone waz already uzing the GOD name at the site..lol^

My take is that any anti-pedophilia campaign is unconditionally justified, to say the absolute least. I am a father who would have taken the law into my own hands and de-nutted any culprit of abuse against my only son.

This being said, is it just me, or is it that you bring in a sense of the macabre here… the tone, the bold reds (bolds is shouting), the kkk style hoods ^, the frigging snaky Zeds…to me this seems a travesty, an annoying role-playing of sorts… and ugly. I don’t think we have a need for the devil here… do we?

If we are to be for the good of our children I’d rather hear this than hearing your Belzbubs^’ pomposity and asinine posting ways . Can we talk like people, if need ever be, without your baloney. Go catch some pedos, gambling Belzbub^! Stop playing gamez wit uz willya?

OK, perhaps annoyance at style and a certain pic of a guy with an illegal weapon made me overreact. As far as yourself having protected my son from sex predators, I’d doubt it unless you’ve nailed some in Laval or Montreal, in a different country from yours.

The morbidity of it all is disturbing as I can imagine people going seeking for illegal and immoral contents on the web, or either posing as underage bait and luring perverts. Is this necessary for your law enforcement being inadequate? Btw hasn’t joint international Polices pretty well cleaned out widespread offenders namely in the Usenet? What also comes to mind is that I hope that your ‘tipsters’ are investigated as well, so that we don’t have immoral material ‘users with an excuse’ on the net.

If it’s OK with you, I’ll keep ‘style’ thoughts to myself, take some words back and offer you a truce for you to accept if you wish to, in order to leave this alone; I did mention, and do reiterate that the cause itself is absolutely justified.

Keep up the good work... The Internet is a very huge place, and in certain circumstances can be potentially dangerous to people, not only in a physical way, but also with the selling of illegal perscription and non perscription drugs, and well as many other things that are deemed illegal in many states. I just wanted to say thanks for putting in your work to keep the Internet as safe as it can be, and keep up the good work. I am glad to see THE OPU getting involved and becoming involved and helping keep online predators away from our youth.
