Do you think those HYIP programs are actually good ways of making money?

Or do you think they are too risky?

If you have the money it can be. You need at least $10000 to get some sort of profit or else you are going to be running in circles. Remember you are betting against major players such as banks and such with unlimited funds. Be careful.

HYIP = High Yield Investment Programs.

Wow, $10000 just to get profit. I guess I'm not that interested in them anymore, I thought you could invest much less than that.

I think they tend to market to the average joes and capitalize on the American dream.

Well yes, they feed on the simpletons who think they can do it with $100 or so, and make themselves even richer.

Capitalization at it's best.

I've seen a lot of HYIP's that take Stormpay and Egold. I had a stormpay account before the whole controversy and I think I spread some money around in different HYIP. Most of them are scams that close in 4-5 days. I havn't made any money out of them, but I only lost 10 bucks.

Yes anybody can build a website and have their "investments" be funded by shady companies that will not do anything to get your money back when you get scammed.
