Where does the Union go from here?

OPU has suffered quite a bit this year. Early on, OPU got hit from several previously-trusted moderators who stolen OPU funds. One or two other mods left OPU. OPU basically turned into a sportsbetting forum while the casino side got fewer and fewer postings. Now the sportsbetting side got hit from recent Department of Justice actions and arrests of a couple of big sportsbetting executives.

While the OPU has recently hit 3,000 on its members list, the postings overall gotten fewer and fewer and with less views on each posting. Many other frequent posters haven't visited OPU in quite a while.

I hope OPU can eventually turn around. Given the current climate that changed so rapidly within the past two weeks, I understand keeping a wait-and-see attitude before making changes. For me, I'll still visit and post whenever I got something to post. I still like my OPU!

Rest easy Catman cause the OPU isnt going anywhere. Things will get back to normal again soon. Posting right now is not easy as I know nothing about poker or sports. And the casino section is iffy because of casinos not taking US players, but things will be fine.
