The Europeans never cease to confuse me. You figure that by now France would try and be more in tune with the EU, but considering that they voted NO on the EU Constitution, it's not surprising that they have their own spin on gambling laws.

Nothing that happens any more surprises me. What does surprise me is that the everyday person continues to let these things happen, without protest. It seems we have all become content to just sit back and let S--- happen.
