1.6 billion dollars is what google is willing to pay for Youtube. With 35 million users per month, this would be a seemingly good investment on googles part.

Google wants to add to its text ads by adding banners and video commercials.

Microsoft, Yahoo, and Viacom have also talked to the executives at Youtube.
