As a follow up to this story, there is a happy ending. The cat has been rescued and is doing well.

I've wondered about that cat after I read about a cat in Germany saving an abandoned baby. Thanks for the update.

Wow what a nice story. Animals are so much smarter than people give them credit for. We have 2 dogs, 1 daschund named Max, and a german shepherd named Jasmine Mcgruff. We also have two cats. Sugar is the female, and Spook is the male. And trust me she makes him tow the line. lol
