Antigua disappointed with US response to WTO decision
The US on Friday issued a response to the WTO decision that its law related to online gambling is "illegal". The World Trade Organization found in favor of Antigua, who filed a complaint against the US claiming the super power had harmed the tiny Caribbean island nation's lucrative online gambling industry through "protectionism" of its own gambling empires.

Hi there
I think that we as American citizens could change some things if we worked at it, but most people just go about their daily lives just waiting on someone else to change what they dont like, all the time bitching about it.

Hi there
If you look at everything thats been changed, like prayer in school, smoking bans, gas prices, etc. We could make a difference in all these things. But no, we let one woman stop prayer in schools and then look at the things that have happened since. Shootings in schools. Prayer may not have stopped it, but our young people do need some values taught to them besides at home. I always thought schools and parents should work together for the betterment of our children.
Smoking ban, so what if I smoke and it kills me. That is totally my choice. If you take off all the taxes on cigarettes, they would probably cost less than a dollar a pack. We pay the taxes because we want to smoke but then are told we cant do it. Doesnt that mean that the government is cutting off its nose to spite its face? Or, rather, where else will they tack on taxes to make up for those ones?
Gas prices are out of this world. And still going up. Well, a one day gas out wont make that much of a difference but people doing things differently could. Stop at the post office on the way to work and the store on the way home. Cut down on the amount of driving everyone does on a consistent basis and the prices will go down. Its the old supply and demand thing. Less demand, more supply, therefore lower costs to the consumer. And prices for gas will be even higher after school lets out for the summer because of traveling for vacations. Out of curiosity, I just wonder what gas prices would be like if everyone decided not to vacation for one summer.
But no, most people as I said, just complain about all this and let it happen.

hypocrites
The United Sates government is definitely a bunch of hypocrites and really need to stay out of peoples personal lives. If they want to protect and serve the people thats fine but dont regulate what the people do. Make online gambling illegal? Come on now guys if you want to make something illegal at least make something illegal that should be illegal. Like abortions, eating pork, working on sunday, cheating on your spouse and on and on but gambling? Thats none of their business.
