Do you think we should have a poker hall of fame, and what should the requirements be to get in the hall of fame?

I voted for a 2 win minimum, but I think other things need to be considered, such as how big was the field (did the person beat 20 other players, or 10, or 50, ...) and also how many series have been held overall. Perhaps have a minimum win requirement but also require that other, 'softer' requirements be met, which would require some human review/voting element.

I assume this is OPU players and not pros?

i picked one.. and here is why.. if we pick 2 3 or more we wont have any one in the hall of fame for a long while i think..

That is probably true, but a hall of fame is to reward longevity, I think. Maybe we need an All-Star game/tournament for the top two or three finishers in all the upcoming leagues combined.

I can agree with one, because if you win a WSOP your considered a pro with a championship win and gold bracelet. More than 3 wins you are a legend.

If you win one time, you should be in. People don't realize how difficult poker is when it is played against a large amount of people. I don't care how much "pros" argue against this FACT... but poker is MORE of LUCK than SKILL.... Bluffing and other skills help, but the cards must come first. RARELY do you see players repeat tournament wins, or even appear at final tables 2 consecutive years at the wsop... aside from 1 player in the past 5 YEARS?... dan harrington? and more impressive than him is Greg Raymer, who WON last year and finished 25th this year(with the largest field EVER) That's almost impossible. This field on the OPU may consist of only 30 players or so, but STILL, rarely will someone win 2 times in a row if even 2 times at all. But if the field is less than 30 make it atleast 2, maybe three wins.

I agree with JA.... at least until more than 20 players have made it....At which time I would suggest the question be revisited......
