Local poker celebrity Richard Henry Lee facing an imminent felony bookmaking charge, agreed Tuesday to forfeit more than $2.2 million of purported poker winnings in a plea deal on a minor charge of keeping a place for gambling.
Besides Lee, four of his employees in an online bookmaking operation also entered no contest pleas to the same misdemeanor count and avoided jail. Each of them will pay almost $2,100 in fines and court fees and will serve a form of unsupervised probation for a month
