Thx Sir , it was a very enjoyable game . Looked like that daughter (neefer) of mine and OPU member, was gonna pull out the win there for a while. Todays game brought out 45 players . Were'nt the numbers that I was expecting , but I tip my hat to all you fine folk that showed up for the kids . We were able to raise 117.00 for the Make a Wish Foundation i think . Not too shabby . Todays money placers were as follows....

Today we had fifty players join in for the game and we raised $ 132.00 for the kids .
Just want to say a big thanks to all that joined in and donated to such a worthy cause .

We now have the ball scheduled for the first Saturday of each month , hoping that this will increase the numbers . Half the proceeds go to the Make a Wish Foundation , so it's for a very good cause , and a lot of the money placers even go one step further and donate their winnings as well .
On the average we have anywhere from thirty to fifty players and manage to send off about a $130.00 a month . Lets see if we all can get that number up today . If you would like to play a fun game of poker for a very worth while cause just go to poker.com , click tournaments then the private tab and look for the "5th Street Charity Ball" . The game starts at 4 pm. est. (1600 lobby time )and is just a 2.20 buy-in with three re-buys and one add-on at the first break . I may not make the game today due to some unexpected business , but you can bet your last dollar that this ol'boy is registered and sitting in anyway...Whats two bucks when it can help bring a smile to a terminally ill child's face ?
