Jake's Picks - MLB Thursday July 27th (+4.03 units)
Well I made a ton back. The record was 7-2 and my big play had a miracle hit. The best thing about the whole night was that one of my losses was entered incorrectly so I actually went 8-1 although I won't count that for my record here. Great day.
Overs: 39-38
Unders: 43-70
Dogs: 87-93
Favs: 92-62
Overall Record and Units: 264-262 +4.03 Units
2 Unit Plays: 10-8
Florida -108
Pitchers: Olsen/Shiell
Olsen has dominated over the last three months and Atlanta doesn't hit lefties well. Shiell had nothing in his first major-league start and I don't see him doing much better in #2. He won't last many innings and when Atlanta's bullpen has to pitch a ton, it's bad news for the Braves.
Colorado -112
Pitchers: Fogg/Williams
Woody has never pitched well at Coors and Fogg has dominated this month. SD's bullpen has not been good lately either.
Baltimore/KC Over 10 -112 2 Unit Play
Pitchers: Lopez/Gobble
I would still like this play if the number was a 12 instead of a 10; that's how easy this over should be. Gobble gets hit by everyone and Baltimore has been hitting easy lefties with ease lately. Lopez's arm is toast and he has had some horrible starts in this park over the years. KC's pen is also one of the worst. This one should be easy.
