i called it yesterday, i knew i was due for a losing day and i warned people to maybe layoff my picks yesterday unless they liked them themselves. i can live with only losing 3.15 units. can't win everyday.

I AM JUST BAFFLED BY HOW BAD THE PHILLLIES ARE AT HOME THIS YEAR SO FAR. CAN ANYBODY EXPLAIN THIS TO ME? i just think they put too much pressure on themselves to win in front of their crazy fans.

atlanta -108 vs washington................ok, washington won two of three in philly, no big deal the way phils have played at home this year. atlanta just won two of three at the braves, so going into washington should not be that big a deal. i have always been a smoltz fan even though i hate the braves and you don't get him this often at this price. i will take the streaking braves to win another one.

phillies -175 vs florida...........this is my highest favorite play of the year so far, i hate laying these big off odds. my first thoughts on this game was to be all over florida. i have been playing against lieber all year long, he has been bad. phils struggling at home too. florida has always played well vs the phillies. you have to ask yourself why the phils are this big a favorite right now. i think they are begging you to take the fish. i am not falling for it. this is a very important game for the phils at home with their so called ace on the mound. i am not falling for the easy money with florida, it is a trap. phils should and better win this one.

milwaukee -139 vs cincinnati............had the brewcrew yesterday and lost, coming right back with them today. if sheets is even close to being full strength tonight, brewers will win this game.

san diego +107 vs mets.............playing alot of the same teams i took yesterday, hopefully with different results. still think mets due for a small losing streak and i cannot pass up the home dog here.

boston -113 vs toronto............usually i am on the bluejays as a home dog, but schillling and becket have been amazing for the sox. i will contine to ride both of them especially at these odds.

played five tonight, that is a little heavy for me. i almost threw in cleveland, but don't like laying huge odds on the road, so took a pass.
