Rex Grossman Going to Texans?

I just heard that quarterback Rex grossman may be going to the Texans this year. Rex Grossman is a former quarterback of the Chicago Bears. I guess if he does go to the Texans,he will be competing for the number two slot.

On Thursday he was to have a physical with the Texans and his agent, Drew Rosenhaus expects to have a one year deal done with the Texans immediately.

Rex grossman was let go by the Chicago Bears after last season ended. He will be competing with Dan Orlovsky to serve as Matt Schaub’s backup. Grossman considered taking the number three slot but has decided to go for number two so that he has a chance at playing time should the number one be hurt during the season.

I am a Chicago Bears gal and know that there was a lot of ups and downs with Rex. He could be on fire one minute and cold as ice the next. I think a lot of the problems he had in Chicago were more the offensive lines fault but Rex caught all of the blame. I hope he gets another chance to succeed. I think he can be a great quarterback.
