Farve is back!

Yes that's right Brett Farve signed with Vikings today! I knew he just couldn't stay away

A source close to Brett Favre said the quarterback, pending a physical, will sign a contract with the Minnesota Vikings for between $10 million to $12 million, according to ESPN senior NFL analyst Chris Mortensen.
Yep so October 5th we'll be sitting in front of the TV watching Farve take on the Packers.

Nooooooooo!!!

Not the Farve!

I thought he was a real cheese-head.

I just hope the Packers have a good quarterback to take his place.

Re: Farve is back!

Dyno Don you do recall Farve played for Jets last year right?

Aaron Rogers is the Packers QB.

Nope, didn't know that, and thank you for the update.

I use to follow football fairly closely in the past, but not now.

I had thought that Farve was going to coach for the Packers or another team the last I remember.

Been to busy with home life and guess I will have to start watching one of America's favorite sport events to keep up with things.

Re: Farve is back!

I heard that one the sports news this morning. If you would have asked me a month ago if I thought Favre was coming back, I would have said of course he is. If you would have asked me that on Monday, I would have said nope. He would have announced it by now. Guess I was wrong!

Now I will have to take back my words calling that guy a goon who had purchased a Vikings jersey with Favre on the back of it! Naw, he was still a goon lol.

Go Bears!

OK.....I'll let this slide after reading your response to Propiper ....I know how things can get busy and we just lose track of stuff.....I used to be a huge baseball fan and could tell you all about the league stats and players, now I couldn't tell ya who played on what team.

Re: Farve is back!

I'm glad I'm not the only one who is forgetful after a half-a-century of living.

I see your point stacy123. Farve would be better off being a coach I think, but he is probably thinking the only way to get the job done right is to do it yourself.

On that note; he may also be thinking, if you can't beat them, join them.

Re: Farve is back!

I think the bottom line was what he has been saying all along - He didn't want to go to training camp - LOL.

He did great with the Jets till messing up his arm. He had surgery and fixed it but also found a partial tear in his shoulder (I think) so he is not 100%.

I am not ready to jump on the Vikings to the Super bandwagon just yet but they do look good on paper!
