The oft-injured Boulware, who was released back on May 11, was inked after he passed a physical and was then subsequently cleared to play by the team's coaches and doctors.

Boulware, the club's career sack leader with 67.5, missed a total of 17 games over the last two seasons with the Ravens due to various injuries.

"There's just a process that you have to go through and we're going to be prudent about it," said head coach Brian Billick said. "The doctors want to make sure they all have a chance to sign off on it. I think we're in good shape, but we have to wait until everybody gets through all the poking and prodding they want to do."

A four-time Pro Bowl selection, Boulware will likely pair off with Terrell Suggs as the team's rush ends.
