Are You Ready for Some Football?

As the song goes "Are You Ready for Some Football?" My answer... YES!!! I am so ready for the season to begin! It seems like we had a long off-season although I know we didn't, I am just too impatient lol!

Did any of you watch the Hall of Fame game last night? The game was between the Tennessee Titans and the Buffalo Bills. I waited all day for it to come on and then I was pretty disappointed. I know that this is just preseason stuff but neither team looked that impressive to me. I was waiting for a T.O. show but that didn't happen lol.

My husband loves the Dallas Cowboys and they have their first pre-season game on Thursday. We are looking forward to it and then my beloved Chicago Bears take the field on Saturday. I am so excited to see what Jay Cutler will bring to the offense! I think Da' Bears will be a team to contend with this season. At least I am hoping lol!

Well, good luck to your favorite team, as long as they aren't playing my Bears lol!

Re: Are You Ready for Some Football?

I've always been a Green Bay Packers fan, but not enough to be a cheesehead.

Now I have to root for the Panthers too, since I'm living in their state.
They started their first couple of seasons off nicely, but I think they've been struggling the past few years.

I don't keep up with football stats the way I use to, since I'm lucky to watch one or two games during the season.

Looks like I will have to spend time in the bedroom if I want to watch football, there's an extra tv I can watch in there.

I've always rooted for the Bears too.
There were a few years in a row where I was rooting my favorite 3-B's; Bears, Bengals, and Browns.

Re: Are You Ready for Some Football?

I get chills just thinking about it!

I love football and everything about it.

Favorite team, hard to say I am partial to Redskins but really enjoy the game no matter who is playing. I basically have a team in each division I want to see win!

Watched the Hall of Fame Game and though not a big fan of pre-season, will be there watching that too...to me;

Re: Are You Ready for Some Football?

I'm ready for football! I have to say that i was raised a Redskins fan, but in secret I'm a Broncos fan. Sucks that we lost Jay Cutler.

I probably won't catch any of the preseason games, but will definitely catch the Monday and Sunday games - every TV in the house seems to be stuck on the games on those days LOL

Shout out to the start of another season!

Re: Are You Ready for Some Football?

Yay, I am so excited that there are so many football fans in here at OPU! Now I will have some peeps to talk the game with! lol. My friends who are girls think I am absolutely crazy. I would rather be watching a football game than just about anything... even shopping lol! I don't know what it is, I am a football junky! I think I must have been a football player in a past life rofl!

Go Bears!

p.s. Rival, sorry your team lost Cutler but I am so glad Da' Bears got him lol!

Your glad now! Though I will admit he is better than anything you have ever had at that position in a long time in Chicago, he hasn't won anything yet either.

Curious to see what Da' Bears think of him after a year or two. I seem to remember the Broncos thinking he was the next Elway and well, NOT!

Re: Are You Ready for Some Football?

Lol Propiper, I know what you are saying but just like you said, he is way better than what we have had for a long time. He will bring things to the table that we have not had recently and desperately needed! If he can at least manage the offense, the D-will help with the rest. At least thats what I am hoping for lol.

Either way, win or lose, I am so excited!
