Rummy Bets

Last Saturday we all got together to play a game of Rummy. Though when we all play rummy we of course each take turns dealing cards, and whoever deals the cards can make changes to the game.

For instance my oldest daughter always makes 2's wild. My son sets the game where you can only play runs ( like 2345 or akqj no 444 or 222's), my youngest daughter likes her games so that 2's are wild and only runs are allowed. My sweetie hates sixes for some reason so if you play a 6 in his game you lose 10 points. I on the other hand play the most common form of rummy.

With all the different ways that you can play the game of Rummy its almost impossible to get bored with the game.

Though we also make wagers on our games. Though we dont play for money of course, because none of us has any to spare,LOL. However we do bet with chores. This week I havent had to do laundry, dishes, dusting or sweeping!!!

Yes I do usally have some good luck when it comes to playing Rummy. I managed to beat everyone and all of my chores are being done for me.

Playing Rummy like this makes the game alot more intresting. I think that most of my luck comes because I am able to easily remember the rules that everyone sets for their Rummy game. It does seem to get confusing at times for everyone, but I find it easy and I am able to win alot of the times.

How do you and your family or friends play Rummy when you find the time to get together for a game?
