Gin Rummy, euchre and pinochle.

Gin Rummy is a game that I learned to play as a child and I really enjoyed this card game.

The best thing I had going for me in this game was the fact that I have almost total recall and that fact really helped when playing this game.

I seems also that this was the one game that made learning other card games so much easier.

After Gin Rummy, I learned to play euchre, then pinochle. Both are also games that I really enjoy. But especially playing euchre. To me, euchre is a very exciting game, with pinochle running a very close second.

Card games are actually a good teaching device for children as they have to learn the mechanics of the games, plus learning to calculate ahead for the next play. It really makes them think, plus card games can be a quality family time option.

I also love to play Euchre. We play it all the time with our neighbors. Pinochle however, I have never played before. I always wanted to learn how to play the game but it just has never came up before. How do you play Pinochle? Is it a hard game to learn?
