Betting.

I love to play video poker but dang if I don't get a beating when it comes to betting. It seems simple enough but when I try to double I get slammed. My current game was dealing me a high card but had none in the hole.

Now if you ask me that is just plain dirty. Is this common? Perhaps there is a better way to add to my bank. Do you guys have any suggestions? I am getting very frustrated and am about to give up entirely.

I just might have to go back to the slots at least those I understand. LOL
