The all new Rivers Casino in Pennsylvania will be opening in just a week. They are hoping to generate $400 million dollars in revenue in their first year.

I have read a bit about the casino and it sounds like it is going to be top-notch. And, its close enough for me to go lol!

They will have over 3,000 slot machines, lots of entertainment, lounges, five first-class restaurants and covered parking. The casino sits on 17 acres of land in Pittsburgh's downtown river district. It is within walking distance of Heinz Field and PNC Park.

They have future plans to expand, adding a 300 room hotel, additional dining and entertainment venues and a multi-purpose event room that will accommodate 2,500 guests.

This is going to be a great place for gaming! I am really looking forward to it.

If it was me I would be worried about the casino flooding..A friend of mine that lives close to there says that river floods alot. I sure hope they took that into consideration. I would hate to be in there and the river rise and here comes the water. I have been in a flood and it is no fun!

Wheeling Downs is also on the Ohio River and it gets flooded about twice a year.
