Resorts Atlantic City May Close

I heard that Resorts Atlantic City casino may have to shut down. I guess their profits are so bad right now that they may have no other choice at all.

Resorts Atlantic City is the oldest gambling hall in Atlantic City.

They are currently searching for a new owner and they had hopes of remaining open until they did so but now that doesn't look like it will be possible.

They were already dealing with money troubles and then this past winter brought record breaking snow falls which just made it all worse.

Quote:
“Consequently, the company will be subject to severe cash shortages,” the statement said. “The conditions described above raise substantial doubt about the company’s ability to continue as a going concern.”
Thats aweful. I hate to hear of any business that has been established for so long to possible have to close. Hopefully they find their buyer and find a way to remain open for their loyal customers.

Man I hate to see that happen,Bigger newer business comes in and puts the older under. It is hard for and older business to keep up with the changing times and keep their customers happy.

In big cities like that their are so many changes going on all of the time and keeping up is tough. You really have to have great management to make it work.I really hope that a buyer that knows the business comes in and gets it and makes it sparkle to everyone again.

A lot of people have good memories there and I am sure that they would like to see it succeed.
