Man Shot in Neck at the Circus Circus in Reno

I just read that a man was shot inside of the Circus Circus in Reno Nevada. He was shot in the neck and the injury is non-life threatening.

I guess there was some kind of skirmish going on and police say they think the man didn't like something that the victim said. He then pulled out a gun and shot him in the neck.

People are concerned over the safety of the downtown Reno area.

Police are asking the public for help in identifying the man. A security camera did get a picture of the mans face. His description is a hispanic man in his twenties. He is about 5'6" and 140 pounds. He was wearing an Oakland Raiders jacket, matching hat and a striped shirt and striped jeans.

I guess he fled with friends in a black Cadillac Escalade.

In any casino we have a lot of people coming in and out of the crime scene. The officers did a good job of sealing off the area. Getting witnesses, videotape of the incident," says Blair.

I sure hope he is caught quickly. I am also very glad that the victim will be okay.

People just never cease to amaze me with how brazen they can be, bringing a gun into a casino, come on now. But I guess that really no different than all the people who carry guns into the night clubs with them either.

Circus Circus is a family oriented type casino - lots of children - why would you even want to bring a gun into there? It is good to know the victim is going to be ok and I hope they catch the guy who shot him quickly.

People are getting so dispirit and mad in this day and time, many without jobs all of a sudden and many with health issues and no money to take care of them.I guess this is why so many are loosing their common sense and doing such stupid stuff.

I am afraid that we haven't seen nothing yet though,i have always heard that it will get worse before it gets better.I am not sure though when that will be,I really hope that things get better soon, before more people loose their minds and do more stupid stuff out of panic because they can not take care of their own families.

That is just crazy. Thankfully the man who was shot received a non life threating injury. It could have been a LOT worse.

People are doing some really stupid things these days. It has gotten to the point in this life that it is scary to disagree with someone over anything at all because you just don't know what is going to happen.

I have heard over the last few years, people being shot over some kind of a disagreement. I am sorry but just because someones opinion isn't the same as yours doesn't mean that they need to be shot.

Hopefully this man will be caught and forced to pay dearly for his crime.
