Gambling in Colorado

There has been an expansion in gambling in Colorado, but with this expansion, it was believed by gambling counselors that there would also be a rise in problem gamblers.

Even though looser gambling restrictions have been put into effect in the state, the problem gamblers that were predicted to go along with these looser restrictions just havent happened.

As I had written in another post, problem gamblers only make up about 3% of the overall population, and this number pretty much remains constant not matter how many new casinos are built or how much gambling laws change in regard to looser restrictions.

There are always people with an addiction. Stopping casinos from opening is not going to stop them. Only thing that will is if they admit they have a problem and get help. There are a lot od addictions and seem to be getting more everyday.
