Casino Vega dispute

Casino vega is a no download casino that offers new signups $20 nd bonus plus 200% bonus on 1st and 2nd deposits.

opu" target="_blank">Casinovega

Heads-up... This Casino is a non-pay!!

I deposited a hundred Dollars there during spring of this year and still have not been paid as of today. This Casino has nowlocked my account, claiming that I would have requested my withdrawal on the wrong day, as they only allow withdrawals on two days of the week!
This bs-excuse is good for the Hall-of-Fame of evil Casino operators but fortunately I have just $250 left there. I will however not allow them to steal this easily.

Avoid this plague!

Thanks for the info
We will ask them about this

Thier non-payment excuse belongs to the Hall-of-Fame for "rogue excuses". I would almost be laughiung about it, if it was not my money!

They are now completely ignoring me and my payment. -What a bunch of cro*!

Did these ******* ever care to reply to you?
What happened to my most recent post in this thread, btw?

hmmmmm...?

Hi Schankwart,

DD has been very busy of late.

So, if it’s Ok, I’ll relieve him in this busy time, and I’ll be working on this with you, Schankie.

Muchos thanks to BGirl1 for putting us both into communication.

Diplomacy has to be used first, for courtesy, benefit of doubt, or whatever, and we'll go that route for openers, obviously.

Hopefully that’ll be it, and no other measures will be needed; let’s see what a polite approach will yield. I’m under the understanding that Damian will include this incident in a forthcoming web-wide ranging video of his series, most certainly only if our undertaking does not solve this issue.

Please let’s avoid any other forums about this from now on, until we have something concrete to announce. For those of you who are not aware of the issue, player Schankwart (not his player name) deposited $100 at this casino, had luck and ran his balance to $250, and then cashed out. He broke no wagering rules whatsoever: we cleared those details out Ok.

But, to his surprise, he got an email telling him that he had made his withdrawal the ‘wrong day’ (!) of the week. Wow. If that's so crucial for processing his humble win, we’d expect a casino with integrity, and 'player satisfaction' oriented, to simply void the transaction, return the funds into his account, congratulate him, and specify which ‘correct day’ it’d be Ok for him to withdraw again ‘properly’, and as per their quite unique policy.

The next thing that happened: they ‘locked’ his account, thus his deposit (!) plus winnings are now inaccessible. Also, this member is not getting response to his queries: at this moment he is shut out, period. It’s only human to make a small mistake; haven’t most of us think that it’s Friday, only to realize later that it’s only Thursday: bummer, one extra day before the weekend! Is that a $250 mistake? Nay.

There’s another grumble about this casino that I know of; but that’s a different forum, and I do not know the individual. We’ll take care of our own member as an individual case, as our duty calls for. Schankwart joined the Online Players Union in February of 2005, so he’s a veteran OPU member.

If we solve this amicably – I can’t imagine anything that can't be readily rectified – it’ll be an open and shut case, as far as our Player’s Union is concerned. Many of our negotiations were done with success behind the scenes, and with positive thinking from both ends, this one should go well too. A casino simply has too much to lose by not solving the trivial matter of paying a player his $250 balance, $100 of which is his own deposit btw, risked for a deserved win. It doesn't pay not to make things right, and all of our senior members have witnessed wrongdoing, and its repercussions: it's just not worth it.

The fine details, and progresses will be kept in between member and negotiator while the negotiation itself proceeds, and I’m truly looking forward to seeing a “problem solved” posted here, sometime soon; it'd be cool and be in tune with the coming Holidays' spirit : )

Ciao4now,

And with regards

Here's a brief update.

The communication is under way, and the casino management seems very receptive.

Kudos to them for that.

Actually the floor manager took the trouble to call me back himself today; in my introduction email I’d given the number where I could be reached at. Unfortunately I was out when the call came in, and I finally returned the call this evening (in earlier attempts, the lines were busy), and had the manager on the line; the fact that he was filling in as CSR himself, was quite busy and not at the proper terminal to access our member’s file; this accounts for not resolving anything today.

As an aside, all CSRs that I’ve been in contact with were all very courteous and polite on every occasion; the floor manager was no exception. Things looks good, and I sense availability plus positive thinking, two traits that ought to be in any top class casinos’ rulebooks.

I was assured a call back with the files opened, with both party available and at the ready for a positive discussion – and a fair equitable solution for our member; I have no reasons to doubt this person’s word that this will happen shortly; only that for today this was not possible.

With regards,

Schankiw kudos go to Damian and ThatChatch for kindly trying to assist me with this matter!
I amholding my breat for now and want to see the reaction of the Casino first before proceeding. Come on Vega, now it is your turn here!

Dear OPU members, who are also online Casino or Bingo players,

Some say that silence is golden, and some say that ‘no news is good news’ (!).

It’s neither in our case, ever since a 6-day old glint of hope.

6 days, 2 of which were of waiting on a word given… that hasn’t happened so far.

Now it’s daily calls and emails; while nothing’s done, some others are on fact-finding mission.

#Do not play at Casino Vega, or Vega Bingo!

We are waiting for some things, and you can expect to filled in soon; one way or another.

Truly,

Yours,

#PM me for details, if need be.

Sad but true, right? This group will however have to live with consequence s now, which will definetely cost them a LOT more than my lousy $250!

Vega "floorman", you are doomed for your evil deeds. Schankie and mates will help karma out a bit here.

-to be continued-

Bump

A verbal, as well as an email contact have been accomplished yesterday, which didnt 'accomplish' anything, except for another word given for solving this simple case: we're not talking 6 figures, only the player's $100 deposit, and his $150 win!

I'm urging Vega - it would amount to mere minutes for us to solve, and get this done, and over with!

Still - do not play CasinoVega or Vega Bingo!#

With regards,

P.S. # PM me for details, if need be.

Thank you Thatch

Thank you for the update and the warning about this particular casino being a no-pay and or slow-pay.

Whatever reason they give for not paying is not acceptable at all. And the fact that the manger is an acting CSR is not a good sign nor is the fact that you have to cash out on a certain day. This would make it seem that they are horribly understaffed and to me that means they must be financially unsound.

Or are the some of the casinos using the law that was just passed to avoid payments due:?

I seriously appreciate Chatch's help as a mediator and am sorry as the same time that he has to deal with these ignorant people at Vega now as well.
If the Casino does not care to respond to this withing the next few days, this matter is going to be escalated to the next level.

Happy Holidays, Casino Vega! I am sure the New Year will start off great for you!!

No problem Schankie, and in the meantime, frohe weihnacht!

We're now looking at our next working days for the final solution.

The warning stands: do not touch - and PM me if need be.

With regards, and Holiday cheers to all.

OK... Let's give Vega up until the first couple days after Christmas.
For now they can enjoy their time themselves.

Hello there

I am very curious to find out how this turned out.

I sent them off an email last week asking what the wagering requirements for the $20 free chip was and their answer was:

Hello,

The $20 free chip is just to try out our facilities before depositing. We do this so you do not have to put your money out before you know if you like it or not.

Cheers

So in other words it is just fun money. Well Im not impressed with that. Plus I have heard from several people that when you deposit, and do not take a bonus, that you still have to wager your own money 15X before you can cash out. If this is so, Casino Vega is Not a casino I would play at.

I have read their terms and conditions in their entirity, and am not the least bit impressed. Nope casino vega is not for me.

The mysterious wagering requirements

To all of whom that this may concern.

Our mediation on behalf of our OPU member Schankwart, and our impasse with CasinoVega is over with. Before going any further, I’ll mention that *I was asked to declare that this matter was resolved with full satisfaction from our side of it, and that the talks were very positive and full of goodwill from the casino’s end of the negotiations. Mike, the ‘floor manager’ is vey well aware of public forums, and is particularly sensitive when CasinoVega and its problems are brought out in the open.

I promised that the facts would be posted, and that I’d stick to those; I'll try my best to do so: we settled for $150. CasinoVega did deposit the amount of $150 into our player’s NETeller account; I had this confirmed yesterday. This is the amount that was reached as a 'compromise.' Given the circumstances, this fell in between the worse outcome (Vega keeping the account locked), and the one we were aiming for (the player getting his full $250, comprised of his deposit and winnings).

The first ‘misdeed’ from the player was to withdraw on a ‘wrong day’. As per the site rules, withdrawals are allowed on 3 specific days only; attempting a withdrawal on a different day gets your balance returned to your account; it was my first encounter with such a rule (!), and was set it aside, so we that could proceed further; next, casinoVega informed me that the player had not met the wagering requirements - and that was the Real (!) reason for the problem!

I informed them that the player had not solicited any bonus, and had played without one - so what wagering requirements were we talking about here…? (!) I was explained that ALL players must roll over their deposit 15 times - BONUS OR NO BONUS (!) As I’d never seen such a term in a near decade of online play, I’ve asked the reason for such an unbelievable rule… I was told that this was for the prevention of money laundering…! - Wow, these money-laundering dudes must be going through pretty hard times of late… at $100 a pop, with 15X wagering requirements! Hmm, I wonder if those money-laundering gangsters use bonuses… Note taken: next time that I see a gangster, I’ll make sure that I ask him that.

* To address the full satisfaction issue… it is Michael, the ‘floor manager’ that mentioned that $150 was our player’s deposit amount, and not $100, and since the player had ‘broken rules’, in a 'sense', yes we were satisfied with the returning of the deposit; that this was $50 more than $100, the amount in our own book, that they had no right in keeping to begin with.

So whether $150 was correct, or not (!) we grabbed the occasion and took it. By the way there is no clear definition of the 15X rule for non-bonus depositors, anywhere on the site; I would have been 100% screwed as well, if I would have played there without a bonus: I can only read writing, and not in between the lines - let alone what’s in the back of some peoples' minds, a continent away!

If it takes the media getting into the act for getting a deposit returned to a player (half a year later!) who disqualified, that does not bode well for the future; I’ve taken the liberty to advise Michael to take the transparency route, without having conditions spread all over, in such a manner that this amounts to a true minefield for the players; no doubt, we'll see many more issues that will be created by those rules (the written, as well as the unwritten!).

There; you have it. As a word given, in exchange for the settlement, my personal task is over with. Now, as far as some others are concerned… I know of some that were eagerly awaiting the end of this long process for producing thorough analyses of their own; this could turn out to be quite interesting after all; to those: I’m now done with this.

With regards,

I have kept my mouth shut throughout this process and am glad this is over too... -As far as my money goes, I mean!

ThatChatch, to mention it once more, has done an outrageous job when dealing with these gangsters. Not only did he initially have to deal with the typical "run around", but he had to actually talk to Vega's "floormanager" multiple times and listen to his tellings.

Especially when considering my owed amount of "only" $250, Chatchs efforts were outstanding! He did it for the sense of fairness, which is a very very honorable thing to do! Chatch is not going to get anything of this but the great word of mouth, and I believe that his action will at least save a number of other players from making any deposit with Vega in the future.
I will make sure that this matter gets revealed in the most frequented gambling forums, so people will not step in the Vega-trap again.
There was a number of other players to have complained about non-payments by them recently as well and I am sure that those players will be happy to learn about this outcome.

Casino Vega have made it basically impossible for any player to withdraw possible winnings. As Chatch mentions already in his post, there are terms hidden all over their website that prevent players from being able to cash out.
Happy New Year, Casino stiff Vega!

Special thanks also go to Bartongirl, who has hooked me up with Chatchy.

We also have a case pending against Bingo Vega / Casino Vega for $800; they are denying a player, because they claim she had multiple accounts. Seems Vega has had a run of player complaints this month. There is also another player claim posted at WOL, where a player was denied close to a $4000 win for so called multiple accounts.

So far Mike seems to be wanting to resolve this issue. We shall see what happens in the next 5 days. Congrats Thatchatch, on helping your member reach a settlement! I’ll let you know the outcome.

Happy New Year OPU
