Ric Flair
Ric Flair has always been known as a wheeling, dealing, kiss stealing, limopusine rideing, jet flying son of a gun.
All of this though ne never knew his real parents. Born in Memphis and at just one month old a couple from Edina, Minnesota adopted him from the Tennessee Childrens Home Society. This was the same organization which later became involved in a scandal for stealing infants from mothers who were on public assistance.
Ric Flair was born with a love for going out and making sure he was the party. It was no surprise to anyone when he quit his job as a promising insurance sales man and began training as a wrestler under the guidance of Verne Gagne.
Before the invention of Nature Boy, the WWE Hall of Famer made his name during hour long marathon matches along with his cocky style and habit of shouting "WOOOOOOO".
Ric Flairs career was said to be finished in October of 1975, when he and five others were injured on a Cessna 310Q twin engine plane went down due to maechanical failure. Flair suffered a broken back in several places and was told that he would never again be able to wrestle.
Because of this news he believed that there was only one thing left that he could possible do and that was to completely ignore the doctors and head off for rehab, theropy and to become the leader of the ring.
Flair has said that after the accident he just started living life and didnt look back. Took the insurance settlement from the accident and purchased his first new Cadillac.
Flair has had his fair share of ups and down during his long career as a wrestler, though he still claims that the party is very far from being over just yet.
Ric Flair is a 16 time world champion along with having many world tag team champions as well and of course we cant forget the Intercontinental and United States Champion as well.
Through all of the ups and all of the downs in his career, Ric Flairs will be one of the many wrestlers who will forever remain in the hearts of his millions of fans, where ever Flairs road now leads him.
