Full Tilt poker players to take survey?

As you know, Full Tilt players in the US havent had access to their money in Full Tilt since April of 2011 and now the PPA wants everyone to take a survey in order to put the pressure on by those with clout in order to hurry up the payment process.

At this time, they are talking about it taking up to another year before players will be given their money.

The question here is why is it going to take putting pressure on lawmakers to get this money back in the hands of US players? And hopefully players wont have to wait another year to recover their money.

That's an interesting story, bartongrl1. Do you have a link to it?

I would like to see how the Full Tilt players are being raked over the coals (again) as they're waiting to be paid.

Re: Full Tilt poker players to take survey?

I'm sorry, I missed this post apparently.

I also apologize for no longer having the link to this story but I had to redo my computer and by doing so lost a lot of saved information.

I will look around and see if I can find that link for you and any new information that may be available on this subject and will post it here if I do find it.

Re: Full Tilt poker players to take survey?

I will make a quick online search on the topic and see if I come up with anything.

Ok, here's a news article I found at rakerace.com, posted on Aug 5th 2013...

Quote:
Representing poker players in the United States of America, the Poker Players Alliance (PPA) asks ex-Full Tilt Poker users to answer a few questions in an online survey to put pressure on the authorities in the issue of reimbursing them for their bankrolls.
You can read the full story at Rake Race.

In their news article they have a link that will take you to the survey (if you wish to take a gander—a look).

Re: Full Tilt poker players to take survey?

Thanks for the update. But as far as this whole situation is concerned, it should have already been taken care of long ago.

As to the survey, that is just questions that they should have already had that information available to them from the sign ups at Full Tilt.

This shouldnt take putting pressure on anyone and as to looking for a third party to handle this, that shouldnt be an issue either.

This whole thing brings up lots of questions.

Re: Full Tilt poker players to take survey?

And, now that the US government has run out of money, how are they going to pay the Full Tilt players? (Never?)

It should have been a different third party handling the funds for those players, like one of the big banks in the US who did not have to be saved a while back.

Anyways, good luck to the Full Tilt poker players getting their funds back. We feel for you guys and gals.

Re: Full Tilt poker players to take survey?

I have looked around for more information on this but havent found anything. Have you seen any more information on this matter?

It would be very interesting to see how far this has progressed since that survey for the players came out, and I wonder what other hoops they will have to jump through before they are paid.
