Do you think that online gambling should be legal in all states.

I want to know what you think. Is it fair that the states can have online sales of games on their websites but yet online gambing in that state is illegal. Whats your take on this?

No, I don't think its fair. Its all gambling in the long run. To me, if you can win money playing it, it is gambling. You re generally betting that you will win. What about the fact that betting is betting, be it horses, sports, bingo, casinos, or tickets or other games. Its all the same.

Yea, like I said, its all gambling. And speaking of which, online gambling in online casinos could be easily regulated bringing in more tax revenue to the higher ups here in the United States.

They all gripe that there isn't money for road repairs, and many other things but fail to take advantage of ways that would bring in more revenue.

I wish they would pull it together. I mean it is rediculous that we have to be restrictedd to the state website. I said before any state that has a casino in it should allow at least those casinos to have online gambling. They are already state regulated so what is the issue?

Right, they are already state regulated and plus it would be extra revenue for the state. As I said for road repairs etc.

They could fix it so if someone won it would automatically notify the IRS and wow how hard is that?

If nothing else, we could regulated that we could only play online in casinos based in the United States which could be easily regulated.

I am surprised that the IRS hasn't asked for printouts of winners from the casinos. then they could be located by IP addresses.

Re: Do you think that online gambling should be legal in all states.

We have casinos in most states now, and I am just wondering why we cant play there online? Those should be very easy to keep track of winners.

And our rights were taken away because of the Wire Act? Everything these days are wireless.

Plus, money laundering? How do you do that in an online casino? Unless of course the casino is very shady to begin with.

I think they are nuts for doing things this way. I mean you can have you phone hacked just walking down the street if you connect to random wifi. You are right they can do it just a matter of want to I think.

Re: Do you think that online gambling should be legal in all states.

It really surprises me that they don't regulate online gambling as a source of revenue.

As I mentioned before, we have casinos in a lot of states that could have online play and the taxes paid by winners could go to our schools, fixing our roads etc.

Every state gripes because they don't have the money for this and that but yet don't take advantage of what they could glean revenue from.
