South Point Poker, the First Legal U.S. Online Poker Site

South Point Poker is licensed to be the first legal U.S. online poker site and is planning to go live come October 2012, if all goes according to plans.

As South Point Poker starts their adventure into the online gambling world, they will start by accepting players from Nevada only and above the age of 21.

The Las Vegas Review-Journal reports this...

Several words come to mind as I read this. One of which is "Yippee-Ki-Yay!"

South Point Poker will definitely have its work cut out for it, but most trailblazers do. As long as they can adapt, pick their battles, and provide an exceptional platform, and--most importantly--not break my heart because they do something illegal after I've learned to love them.

How many days until they launch? Is anyone counting?

I have no idea when south point will launch the money-side of their poker site, but I will check up on that when I can and give y'all the heads-up.

Wow, now this is good to hear. Once one starts up, more should follow and hopefully soon we will have casinos at which we can play slots again.

Do keep us updated as to what is going on and I will also keep my eyes peeled and will post any information I happen to come across.

I just made a quick search online and do not see anything of news about South Point poker's actual date for launching their real money section.

It may be late September before we see any new news on this topic.

Well thanks for the update. I am going to see today what I can find out, and if I find anything, I will add it here to this point.

Kinda makes you wanna know now whats happening in October instead of waiting until September to get the information.

Anyway as I said, Im going to see what I can find out. There has to be answers somewhere lol.
