State lotteries affected by online gambling ban.

New Hampshire is one of the first states to report monetary losses,at least as far as I have seen.

The state allows people to buy subscriptions for certain lottery games online. The popular method of payment is by credit card. But due to the UEIGA law the top two companies Visa and Mastercard are not allowing these payments through.

It was only a matter of time before it finally caught up like this. In my state I have always been told that I could not buy my instant lottery tickets or any other type of state lottery purchase with my credit card.

Will this alos be enough to make next months decision to repeal this act. I certainly hope so. Economically speaking it will be a real booster.

Re: State lotteries affected by online gambling ban.

I am in the same boat as you Hadley, i am not allowed to purchase scratch tickets, lottery tickets..etc with my credit cards, never were able, i didn't know that some states had allowed it??

I do believe that this will help to get this stupid law repealed, especially taking in consideration the economic times, states need to make all the money they can without government stepping in and shutting it down.

Thanks for the post!
