Kentucky may suffer with the rest of us.

According to an news article that I was reading Kentucky may have to deal with a ban against gambling just like everyone else. The Tresury Department is trying to get a bill finished before Bush leaves office.

In this bill they will make it illegal for banks to handle any online gambling transactions. The short of it is that the horse racing industry conducts business over the internet the same as other sites. The banks don't have time to sort out who is legal and who isn't so guess what they get banned too.

I love it this is what the get for trying to corner the market persay. Idiots ought to be fighting for everyones interest not just their own. The rest of the business's have a head start on how to work with the current issues and have spent their time working on them. Kentucky wasted its time trying to snatch up a few urls and wham their in the soup with the rest of us.

I do hope that Kentucky suffers for what the governor of that state is trying to do.

I hope that someones comes up with a plan that will allow us to gamble online though, so this is a double edged sword.

Re: Kentucky may suffer with the rest of us.

I wonder how the majority of the state of Kentucky's residents feel about what is going on there. I wonder if this is the governments thing or if this is ok with those who pay the taxes and the government in Kentucky. Just because someone is elected and is supposed to impose the will of the people doesn't mean thats how it always goes as we all know.
