Well i guess they have to do something to gain revenue in the state with the smoking ban casinos just dont have a chance so new ideas are going to help out a great deal

Atlantic City, New Jersey Could See Sports Gambling Soon

Difficult times are upon the casinos in Atlantic City as slot parlors rise in New York, Pennsylvania, and Delaware and attendance and revenue decline in this East coast Las Vegas.

The NJ State Legislature is on its way to approving expanded gambling in Atlantic City and in the State's Racetracks with the inclusion of sports wagering. The State Assembly this past February has passed a bill, which would legalize sports wagering at casinos only.

Hey thats great news for sports fans. It will be great for the casinos too.
They are well established there and will continue to find ways to improve
business I am sure. They aren't going to go down without putting up a good
fight first.
