Online casino gambling is the future. Whether governments around the world take their time in coming around to the idea or not, the reality is that online gambling is prevalent everywhere in the world.

A report out of Korea indicates that Koreans are spending time in online casinos gambling in record numbers. The increase in online gambling in the country has been steady and is still rising

Korea Steps Up Attempts to Squash Online Gambling
Korea is the latest country to stand up to the evils of online gambling.

In a report featured in the Korean Times on Monday, Michael Ha writes that the Government agencies have been working to nab illegal money dealers on the Web.

Their efforts, however, involve a little more clever ingenuity it seems.

One method the agencies use is offering compensation to Internet users who tip authorities about illegal money dealing for gambling purposes, Ha writes

One of the words used in conjunction with online gambling is "evil". It isnt any more or less evil than gambling at landbased casinos, or playing the lottery or betting on a racehorse.

If regulations were set in each country, the tax money that could be gleaned from winners at online casinos could be used to build school, repave roads, and many other things that might not otherwise get done.

Put parents in charge of what their under 18 year old children are doing online and there wont be a problem with underage online gambling. As for college students gambling online, they will go to a land based casino and spend as much if not more money as they would online.

So I think the people in charge need to rethink the pros and cons of online gambling.
