Skill Games are Great

Skill games are great. They are a challenge and alot of fun. I am always on the look out for new skill games to play. Though just about every game that you play teaches or works on one type of skill or another.

I know that in our home we play games ALOT. Everyone has a blast playing games and each time we all sit down to play a game we take turns deciding which game will be played.

Last night for instance we played Clue. This is a fun game, it makes you really think to figure out who is the killer, which room the murder took place in and what weapon was used to commit the murder. Its a game that I loved as a kid and love even more as an adult.

We dont have alot of board games here, though we decided that each month we would purchase a new game for everyone to play. Mostly we play card games because there are just so many different games that you can play with cards, so it will be nice to add in some new board games as well.

My son just bought a chess game, because he loves to play chess. Now this is one game that I just dont understand at all, though apparently I will be learning how to play over the next few weeks,LOL.

LOL you are not alone on that one. I have never understood chess!! Now my son is great at it.

I have tried to get him to explain it to me. and when he does I still don't get it..LOL
