Game Account Suite of Skill Games includes Blackjack

One of the top software development companies, and supplier of games for the regulated internet gaming industry, Game Account, made a new deal with Blue Square and has now launched it's skill- based games. Blue Square's online players will now be able to play GameAccount's games, including Gin Rummy, Backgammon, Multiplayer Blackjack, and Poker Dice. These skill games will offer multi-table tournaments which is a first for skill games. There will also be cash games which can be played head to head.

A spokes person for Blue Square says that Game Account was picked after doing a lot of research into various companies, that this company has a lot of experience in the growing markets of Europe. The spokesperson continued to say that the company has great technical capabilities.

Game Account's benefits include many software upgrades, including better navigation for the lobby in the games, with better chat rooms, and tournament players will have access to more information. There are also brand new side games to play, for those times when the tournament play slows down. Players will be able to chat among themselves in the lobby for the first time, without missing any of the game play.

A spokesman for Game Account says that the company is very happy to have Blue Square as a part of their Network, and that they are very fortunate to have such a variety of skill games for their online players. He went on to say that the company is the perfect vehicle for building and sustaining a larger user audience.

Re: New Suite of Skill Games

Actually, what Game Account is best known for is Blackjack. The Blackjack game is a different type of setup than the casino set ups, instead of playing against the dealer, you play against other players. It is set up so it qualifies as a game of skill and not classified as gambling, but it is a true Blackjack game.

Re: New Suite of Skill Games

I'd never heard of a blackjack game that wasn't played against a dealer. Is this set up so that the players deal the cards? I'm kind of having trouble picturing blackjack without playing against the dealer.

Re: New Suite of Skill Games

I haven't checked it out, I wish Caruso would have a look at it.

There is a dealer:

Quote:
players start with 1000 chips each and whoever has the most chips after a certain number of hands wins the match. Before any cards are dealt each player decides the amount they wish to stake. Players make their choices on whether to hit (take another card), stand (play with the cards dealt) or double (buy a new card by doubling the original stake). The dealer then plays his hand and pays out to the hands, if any, that beat his score. The players aim is to amass the biggest chip stack they can in order to win tournament play.
It also says:

Quote:
Playing the “House” vs. person-to-person tournaments

There is only a slight house edge in the online game here and players are not attempting to beat the dealer, but each other. Unlike casino Blackjack, players are allowed to split Aces, double down after splitting, and double down on any hand and split any 10s. The dealer is still, however, bound by the normal house rules, i.e. he must draw to 16 and stand on all 17s.
Then it goes on:

Quote:
You can play 5, 10 or 40-hand blackjack games. At the end of the set number of hands, the Player with the most chips wins the stake of their opponent less the applicable rake. Try playing out robot players for free initially if you're not quite sure how this works.

I'll check this out later today and get to know it intimately and have a review ready tomorrow. It definitely sounds fun, and should be pretty interesting.
