Tips on Spades

I have several friends that play spades, though I am clueless as to how the game is played. Is there any free sites where I can not only learn how to play but be able to get in alot of practice?
Any help sure would be appreciated, Thanks.

Pogo has spades games that you can play for free (and in their free game site, so you don't even have to be a pogo member).

Also you can practice against other players, or against robots. Pogo also has tutorials that you can use to teach you how to play! Good luck and have fun. Spades is one of my favorite card games, I hope you enjoy it too.

Thank you so much Screamingmimi. Bad part is that I do play on pogo quite often and I never noticed that they offer the game spades.
I always tend to play the same few games there. Thanks for the tip though, next time I play on Pogo I will be learning how to play Spades and then maybe I will be able to start up a game when visiting family and know what I am doing, LOL.
