History of Spades.

Spades has apparently been around since about nineteen thirty and became very popular in the forties. It was a game frequently played by soldiers during World War 2.

It has a close simularity to Bridge in the way that it is played. It has a foundation of being made in Cincinatti, Ohio. I love that fact as I was born and raised in Ohio and it was one of the first games that I ever learned to play.
