I love backgammon it has simple game rules to follow.

I believe that this game is a great one for kids to learn to play. It will teach them patience. It also makes you think. In order to win you have to best your opponent.

In a lot of ways it is alot like chess except for all of the pieces are the same. Chess pieces have different moves where as backgammon pieces don't.

Take some time to teach your children or grandchildren this game. They will forever remember who taught them. They will also have fond memories to share with their children and grandchildren.

Sharing our favorite games with future generations is one of the most important things we can do aside from sharing our love of books. Children today have to many electronic gadgets to entertain them.

Take them back to the days when we entertained ourselves and each other. It is a good foundation for a happy and healthy family.
