Wink Re: Game Colony

I recently played Darts at Game Colony, and fell in love with them. Its challenging yet fun. I am still learning how to better myself at it. Though whether I win or lose I have a blast playing. I would recommend this game to all who like to play Darts.

Re: Game Colony

Oh that is wonderful I love to play games and try them out
on new game spots. There seems to be some differences in
the games on different sites.
Thanks for sharing this one. I will check it out and see how I
like it.

Re: Game Colony

I loved playing the games in Game Colony, the only problem with it is that when a player from the U.S., as I am, runs out of tickets, we can't buy more of them. I did play for quite a long time on the tickets that I was given to begin with, but now I can't purchase more.

I tried the "refer a friend" which is supposed to give me some more free tickets with which to play, but so far have not received them, even though I know that one of those friends has signed up in the site.

Re: Game Colony

I can't beleive that they included skill games as gambling in the usa and have made it hard to even deposit and play there. I mean, you can play poker in your house and win money, are they going to try and ban that too?

give me a break.

Actually, they do. Every now and then you'll hear of a home poker game getting raided - even at such places as a VFW. Pretty ludicrous if you ask me. So what if they took a cut from each pot (rake)? It's not like they were extorting money from the players. I'm sure they were just trying to cover their expenses for holding the games.

Two veterans organizations' posts were raided for alleged illegal gambling last weekend in Far East Dallas.

Police a poker operation at the AmVets Post No. 106, in the 2300 block of Oates Drive, on Friday night, Dallas police Lt. Christina Smith said.

The following night, police said, they broke up poker games at the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 1837, in the 2300 block of Lakeland Drive.

Poker operations are illegal "when the house takes a cut from the pot, as opposed to you having a friendly poker game at your house," Lt. Smith said. "The money paid in should be the same amount paid out," and the poker games should be in a private setting.

Re: Game Colony

I also have recently run out of tickets, and have done the blogs as well as getting friends to play. Though I still havent gotten more tickets so I could continue playing. I have also contacted their customer service about this as well, they as of today still have not responded. I do miss playing the games, and can not buy the tickets due to my location.
Anyone have any other suggestions as to what can be done to get more tickets??

Re: Game Colony

Do they promise you free tickets for blogging or sending friends?

Don't they take paypal?

Skill games other than Poker are NOT covered by the UIGEA. They stopped short of trying to stop chess tournaments and so on.

Re: Game Colony

Yes they do say that if you submit a blog about their site and link it to them that they will give you tickets as well as if you refer a friend to play. I can not answer about them accepting pay pal or not, because at this time it would be impossible for me to purchase tickets. I am not even sure if I had the funds, if in my location I would be allowed to buy tickets.
