Playing the game.

I like video poker but this game drives me nuts. I play the free games alot but occasionally I like to play for money.

I again made the decision to play for cash and lost. It makes me crazy that no matter what I can not win.

I am not a fan of wasting my money and now I am sure that I won't be playing for cash anymore.

I might play if I go to the casino but never again online. It just never seems to work out for me.

I have never played at a casino before so I may have better luck at a landbased casino.

They are all the same whether in an online or a landbased casino. It is the luck of the spin. I never have any luck either..LOL

Your losses are a function of 1) how much you play, 2) the paytable and 3) how you play. If you play 9/6 JOB in moderation and accurately, you will certainly win reasonably frequently.

However, your comment about playing in free mode is wisdom personified. This is something I highly recommend, LOL.

Thanks for the tips. If I get brave enough to play for money I will certainly use them. Freeplay is the best way for me personally. The game just eats up my cash if I play for real so I don't bother anymore. Nice to see you again by the way Caruso.

Again, playing JOB VP accurately you will win on occasions, sometimes big. The trick is being able to estimate your average loss. Ain't exactly fun, but in exxchange you gain absolute control of your finances.

To give an example: if you play single line $0.25 coin, full five coins (must play max coins) at 600 spins per hour on a JOB 9/6 machine, perfect play will work out at:

(600 X 1.25) / 100 X 0.5 = 3.75.

So, -$3.75 per hour.

I see people winning on these video poker machines that are going up all over North Carolina now.It seems to be growing pretty quickly in popularity amongst the public around here as well.

I guess if you understand the game that you are playing and you do not get to greedy then you can win money off of these types of machines.I am going to try my luck at them soon I think.I will let you know how I do when I Play.
