Which poker hall or casino do you recommend?

I love to play poker and was wondering what place you like the most. I play on pogo most of the time. I am however looking to bump up my game. My skill level isn't the best but one must play often in order to gain some real skill.
Let me know where you play and what the place offers the less skilled among us, please.

Presuming you are playing Texas Holdem...

Do you like to play cash games or tournaments?

Limit or no limit?

Cash games are preferable. I play slots tournaments quite often. I just need some practice before I get to much money involved in any game. I would really hate to embarass myself. I am also sure that there are people who wouldn't appreciate playing with a novice.

Other than Pokerstars or Full Tilt, I love Crazy Poker. They're on the Prima (Microgaming) network, so there's really no shortage of ring games, and they have some great tournaments as well. Crazy Poker is part of the Vegas Partner Lounge group. Their "Crazy" casino is Crazy Vegas Casino.

If you're REALLY a low roller, they even have $.09+$.01 SnG's! (single table tournaments)

I've cashed out a few times from their poker room and was paid via QT in under 48 hours each time. Their customer service is top notch and if you jump on live chat, they will flush (so you can't reverse it) your withdrawal request instantly, no questions asked.

Thank you for the great information. I have been looking to spead my wings a bit. I play slots all of the time and it gets tedious after a while.

If I get a chance to play there I will let you know how I do. It will be a welcome break. It is also pleasing that you can play small amounts. This way I can build my skills and my courage.

Try Betraiser.
It is rake free.
There are a lot of freerolls also.

Maybe not a good idea.

I wouldn't touch Microgaming Poker.

Hello, I have been playing on betraiser for a couple of weeks now. Software is playable and player base is growing from day to day. Never had problems with withdrawals (2 so far) and support is doing good and quick when using internal messaging system. if you are also looking for fishy players, you got the right place here!

Summertime, what do you mean "fishy" players? As in colluding, or as in they are donks? One is good, the other is bad. I won a freeroll, but I don't know whether to continue there.

Many donky players seemingly are taking part in the freerolls, so i would suggest to try it... works great for me.
