Blackjack Strategy

There is a basic blackjack strategy based on mathematics that you can use to reduce the house's edge. You do need to make adjustments within your strategy depending on where you are playing. Different casinos have different rules. You may find some offer DOS (double down after splitting) and others do not. You will also have to change your strategy when playing with single or more decks.

If you want to be a successful blackjack player you will need to learn basic strategy. Most players start learning by referring to a basic strategy chart. The strategy chart shows you how to play your first two cards based on the dealers up card. Referring back to the Blackjack 101 article, you know that the house gains its edge by the fact that the player must act first. Since the basic strategy chart only deals with the first two cards, you will also need to learn what decisions to make after taking a hit.

There are a lot of winnings waiting for you out there. You need to be patient and learn all you can strategically about the game. Learn all of the different rules you may find from casino to casino. Good Luck!

Wink Blackjack Strategy

I have always enjoyed playing Blackjack, even though I have never really been any good at it. I guess I will have to look into this strategy and hope that I will become a better player. Heck maybe I will even be able to win more than I do now.

Blackjack Strategy

Blackjack has never been my forte, but I do play it on occassion. I, also dont have much luck at it even though I have read the strategies and tried to implement them when I play. Maybe it has to do with this game not being a particular favorite of mine.

Thank you for posting the strategy for this game, I will try these ones and see how they work.

My blackjack page is a lot better:

Use Ken Smith's charts to create the correct strategy for just about any rule set:

Shacky's blackjack page is good as well:

No, it's because with perfect play you will still lose one bet in every 200. You can't win overall.

They'll work as they're supposed to. Nothing is left to chance in casino gambling. It's just numbers.

Dominique's "strategy" isn't even close to correct.

Several of the instructions are wrong. I'm not going to do Dominique's job for her - the best thing is to look at the charts on any of the pages I mentioned (including mine, LOL). That's how to learn blackjack. Those instructions, "if you have this, do this, if you have that, do that", are absurdly user-unfriendly. As such, far from being "the easiest to learn", this format is far and away the hardest. That in addition to it just being plain incorrect, LOL.

The other page is also not helpful. It lists game names, but not the applicable strategies. You can find most of them on my site, and you can configure Ken Smith's charts as well.

**AHEM.** I'm not sure that, when discussing blackjack, Gamesandcasino.com is the ideal reference - with all due respect to the OPU owner. LOL.

Bingo and slots? Ah, now you're talking.

Blackjack strategy

Well, I guess this weekend will find me reading all presented blackjack strategies. I may even grow to like and fully understand this game at this rate. And if I would win, that would certainly be a plus.
