Basic Blackjack Rules

Basic Blackjack Rules

The goal of blackjack is to beat the dealer's hand without going over 21.
Face cards are worth 10. Aces are worth 1 or 11, whichever makes a better hand.
Each player starts with two cards, one of the dealer's cards is hidden until the end.
To 'Hit' is to ask for another card. To 'Stand' is to hold your total and end your turn.
If you go over 21 you bust, and the dealer wins regardless of the dealer's hand.
If you are dealt 21 from the start (Ace & 10), you got a blackjack.
Blackjack usually means you win 1.5 the amount of your bet. Depends on the casino.
Dealer will hit until his/her cards total 17 or higher.
Doubling is like a hit, only the bet is doubled and you only get one more card.
Split can be done when you have two of the same card - the pair is split into two hands.
Splitting also doubles the bet, because each new hand is worth the original bet.
You can only double/split on the first move, or first move of a hand created by a split.
You cannot play on two aces after they are split.
You can double on a hand resulting from a split, tripling or quadrupling you bet.

Re: Basic Blackjack Rules

this info that you are sharing i know it as the blackjack strategy chart, but my issue is that i have found many of them and some ones make reference for a specific casino, in my specific case im a online players, im using 4 casinos to play simultaneusly, so most of the time i play only on online casinos, my question first question would be what's the diference between this two , because i have found many of them like the first and the second and my second question would be there are strategy charts for online casinos and do they vary from casino to casino

Re: Basic Blackjack Rules

Here are a few more tips.

Before start analyzing some of the most common blackjack strategies let’s explain some very basic terms.

Hit: To call for another card. You can Hit as many times you want as long as you are not .

Double: You call for only one more card. Your bet is also doubled by that way.

Split: perform this action when you have 2 identical cards.

Stand: You are happy with the sum of your cards and you do not wish to draw any more.

We will explain further terms as we continue write this article. Now, it is very important to understand that each hand must dealt by different way. It is very important to follow a specific blackjack strategy as this will maximize your winnings on the long run.
Remember that the purpose of the game is your cards to have more value than the cards of the blackjack dealer (not exceeding 21 of course).

Stand if you have 17 or more especially if the dealer shows less that 7.

Hit if you have 12-16 and the dealer shows a 7 or more.

Hit if you have less than 10.

Double if you have 11.

Double if you have 10 or less and the dealer card is less than the sum of your cards.

Split when you have 2 Aces

Split when you have 2’s, 3’s, 6’s, 7’s, 8’s and 9’s.

Never Split the 2 tens or 2 fives.

If you are in a situation where the dealer has 6, 5, 4, 3, 2 then it is a good move to stand. If the dealer has a ten value card then there is a good chance that he will bust.
