PPA fights funds seizure.

The Poker Players Alliance has filed a petition to have funds restored to Account Service after they were seized by order of The Attorney Generals Office.

They say that it was an illegal action as poker is not illegal as described in Federal laws.

Poker is a skill based game and not a game of chance and does not fall under the same laws as such games as slots which are games of chance.

They are siting recent rulings made in at least 4 states that say that poker is a game of skill and not a game of chance therefore it is not a gambling game.

I await the outcome of this fight. We need to put an end to all of this nonsense once and for all. I sure hope that all of those people get there money back quickly.
