Pokerstars.com in court over disputed winnings.

One has to wonder why these places cant or wont make these payments of winnings to players. It seems this is going on more and more these days.

I too, hope this lady gets the money she is due. I don't understand why they won't just pay up. They have to know it will be crucial to their reputation. People who hear of this will no longer feel secure playing at their site.
I know I wouldn't.

If the government would have passed the online gaming regulation, it would have helped to make certain that the sites we play on are trustworthy. That was to be part of the regulation, they were to investigate the sites and sort the good from the bad. Instead they turned it down, so these sorts of things will continue to happen.

This is horrible, online sites that refuse to pay out to their winners need to be shut down. This not only damages their reputation but it also hurts other online gaming sites. People become confused and unsure of which sites to trust, and may even decide not to play any games online at all. I hope that this lady also gets what is rightfully hers.

This is why everyone needs to check on the reputations of online poker sites or casinos. If you arent sure of where to play, ask one of us here.

Casinomeister.com also has a list of rogued or blacklisted sites you can check at to make sure you are going to be playing at a safe place.

Thank you for posting the site of the blacklisted. At least now I will be able to check and see which sites to really stay away from. There are so many that it does get hard to keep track of. Especially if your like me and love to play many different online games. I feel more safe already.
