Did ya notice when the 2010 WSOP schedule came out that the $50,000 H.O.R.S.E. event was missing from the schedule? They have booted it from the tournament but in it's place they added the $50,000 Player's Championship.
The Player's Championship will be the first bracelet event of the 2010 WSOP.

Limit Hold'em, Omaha Hi-Low Split-8 or Better, Seven Card Razz, Seven Card Stud, Seven Card Stud Hi-Low Split-8 or Better, No-Limit Hold'em, Pot-Limit Omaha and 2-7 Triple Draw Lowball will all be played on the first four days. Only No-Limit Hold'em will be played at the final table.

ESPN will cover the new tournament.
The Chip Reese trophy, which used to go to the $50,000 H.O.R.S.E event winner will now go to the Player's Championship winner.
