New Prime time show

On August 1 NBC is debuting a new TV show. It is called Face the Ace. It's host is going to be Steve Schirripa who played on the Sopranos. The show is going to start at 9:00PM.

This new show will allow contestants to compete against some of the best poker player in the world.

The contestants get to pick out a pro they can play against on a no limit hold'em. If the contestant wins, they get $40,000. Then they get to keep the money or pick a different pro for $200,000. Then in the final match, they get to keep the money or try a third pro for a million. If the contestant ever looses, they will lose all money that they won up to that point.

The poker pro will also want to win. If the pro wins, they get $10,000 for you favorite charity.

The show is going to bring in great poker players such as Patrik Antonius, Chris Ferguson, Phil Gordon, and Gavin Smith, and many more. There will be a total of fifteen pro's to join in.

This should be an interesting new show to watch. I think the show is a great concept, just think playing against a pro, and the chance of beating them. I am not going to want to miss this show.

I hadn't heard of this show but I won't want to miss out on it either. Can you imagine, playing against the pros? lol. I would be starstruck and unable to comprehend anything lol. I am sure the contestants will be good players as well though. The thing is, the pros know how to avoid giving tells and they sure do know how to read them. This will be fun to watch.

This is going to be an intresting show to watch. I like the idea that even if a contestant loses, there will be a charity that is going to benefit from the contestants efforts.

I dont think that I would want to go up against a professional poker player. They are just to good for me. Though I would imagine that there are some people who are excellant at playing the game, but arent professional players and will be able to take home some awesome prize money.

I do look forward to sitting down and watching this show. I know my sweetie will also want to know about this one. He loves watching the poker shows. This will be right up his alley.

Thanks for the heads up about this new show. Cant wait to see it.
