The WSOP Circuit events will be taking place in Tunica, Mississippi at the Harrah's which is the fifth stop of the 2009-2010 season this month. It is to consist of 19 ring events including a $200 Ladies No Limit Hold'em Circuit Event Championship, a $200 buy-in Seniors No Limit Hold'em Championship and the $5,000 buy-in Harrah's Tunica Main Event Championship.

"Harrah's Tunica has always been one of the biggest and brightest stops on the circuit," said tournament director, Jimmy Sommerfeld. In addition to the scheduled ring events, Harrah's Tunica will host $200 (+30) and $300 (+40) 4:00 pm daily non-ring tournaments to include Omaha, Omaha hi-low and H.O.R.S.E.
"We wanted to mix-in a variety of games, because it is what the players want," said Sommerfeld. "Last year, we had all of the tables going throughout the day."

The 2008/2009 winner was Kai Landry who won $183,974, a $10,000 buy-in to the 2009 World Series of Poker Main Event at the Rio All-Suites Hotel & Casino and the WSOP Circuit Main Event championship ring.
