I love Phil Hellmuth he entertains me. He is the only person who can't irritate and make me laugh all at the same time. Now playing against him that may be another story.
Quote:
A Hell Of A Day
Facing an $8,400 preflop raise Phil Hellmuth made the call. The two players went heads up to the 10 9 5 flop and that's when the fireworks started.
The original raiser made it $8k effectively putting Hellmuth to a decision for his tournament life. He decided to lay it all on the line shoving in his last $13,200 total and hoping for the best.
His opponent mulled over the call for quite some time. He was priced in for the extra $5,200, but after Hellmuth needled him a little, he dumped his hand.
Hellmuth showed a set of fives.
"What do you expect?" he said, stacking his new found $37k.
