Failed Poker Tournament
Two companies are suing each other over a failed poker tournament that they were planning. The tournament was to include players that are athletes and celebrities and the prize was the chance to get to the final round and then win a $1 million prize.
Sludikoff Gaming Tournements Inc and the company Hall of Fame are who are involved in the suits.
Sludikoff Gaming says that to begin with they were paid $10,000 a month to work on the project. They say Hall of Fame tried to take advantage of their experience and reputation. They also say that Hall of Fame made defamatory statements about Sludikoff Gaming to casino officials.
In Hall of Fames suit, they say the suit Sludikoff Gaming has filed is full of false accusations and that there was an abuse of process. They also say that Sludikoff Gaming was not performing their duties and that they were trying to lay claim to the project themselves.
